Tim Noble and Sue Webster are an artists duo who assemble found objects in a way that cast beautiful shadows and figures creating a complex 3D art form that utilizes a very interesting contrast between “junk” objects that are representative of the waste we produce, and these simplistic and quiet shadows which represent the source of the waste. Its an interesting kind of garbage-shadow-puppetry. I think this is interesting to consider when thinking how can we get viewers to engage with our work on multiple levels… Click the link above to see some cool images. It does contain some roadkill sort of things, so this is my disclaimer, parts of it can be a bit..well…gross.
